South face of Monte Cristo slid approximately 300' wide and 8-10' deep at the tallest points of the the crown. Mostly S aspect, propagating into slightly SE aspect. Assumed to have happened during mitigation work the morning of the 18th.
Forecaster Comments: UDOT control teams verified this was from their work on the morning of January 18th. This looks like a wind-drifted snow avalanche that failed on facets.
