Felt a gentle collapse felt while crossing a ~30 degree convex tree lane climbing out of Days Fork toward the pass with West Bowl. About 5 seconds later snow pulled away from rock at the top of the small terrain feature. Very slow moving slide. It seems as though the failing interface is susceptible to collapsing but is relatively high friction. Given that the slope was around 40 degrees where it failed, I would've expected it to move much faster and continue further downslope. This slide is very similar to the other ones reported lately, near treeline in a small sheltered opening.
