Quick report

We could skin from the road, and mostly return to road skiing. Coverage was good on Relay and Houghton with great corn on S/SE aspects 8500-10000ft by about 10am. Saw one old roller ball prob from a previous day. Ascent snow was soft enough we didn’t need ski crampons and didn’t see any signs of loose wet instability. Above 10k it wasn’t 100% melt freeze cycled but mostly. I broke through a little crust on my first few turns on skis but my split boarding partner didn’t notice.
