After noticing instability we made sure to stay cautious and ride in safer terrain. It was snowing heavily the entire tour. Snow turned to graupel near the end (2:30pm) Bottom line: noticed instability on all aspects with natural, remote, and human triggered avalanches.

First noticed instability walking to the top of a chute at 11:55. Remote triggered a storm slab avalanche from about 20 feet away from a chute. The slope was wind loaded. This was a NNW aspect with 6”-2’ crown. Looking from the bottom the slide propagated to multiple slopes and aspects. The toe of the slide travelled 5-600 feet into the trees. Noticed whomping and heavy sluff throughout the area. We also noticed east facing natural slides presumably from the same day in the distance with 1-3’ crowns. On the way back to the car whomping and shooting cracks were noticed on a south facing slope. The slope failed to ground on a ski cut. Appeared to be all snow from the recent storm. The depth was roughly 2’’.
