Quick report

Skied one lap on the north side of Kendall Peak. Seems that SL spiked all the way up to 5500’ (top of our line) or higher in the zone. Got 8-10 good turns off the top (slight crust not noticeable while skiing) before encountering widespread rollerballs (from Monday) as soon as we hit the apron, transitioning to full wet slide debris from Monday, transitioning to supportable crust down lower where the pitch mellowed. Exited via Kendall Slide path (west aspect) where the early afternoon sun was softening the rain crust and creating decent corn-like conditions. Overall surprisingly good travel conditions despite mediocre skiing. Partner reported triggering small pocket on steep wind loaded convexity at top of our run on north side. Overall stable snow observed. Clouds were keeping it cooler than expected.
