Quick report

Red Flags
Poor Snowpack Structure

I was able to get a couple of wind drifts to crack today. These propagated a lot easier than I expected. Seems like it has been a little while since we have had enough snow and wind to get wind slab formation but thats that. No notable pit results today ECTN and some CTM, H but thats all. Most of the snow where we dug (ENE 8100ft) was all facets with some crust intermixed. The only non-faceted layer was right under the rime crust. This snow was a touch damp. HS 85cm. I was also supprised how much weaker the snow was in Garden City than where we were yesterday. All faceted through pretty much. There is no slab where we dug. Whole snowpack is facets again. At least where we were.

Just some fluff!

Snowpack

Gamutt of snow conditions today.  We did find good riding conditions in Garden City Bowls today.  It was quite suprising and a nice change from breakable crust.  There are still many areas with breakable wind crusts, melt freeze crusts, and rime crusts.
