-
We skied the low angle north west face of Peak 9467. The slope starts out sparsely treed but soon dense firs dominate. We experienced no signs of instability while skiing. We stopped to transition around 9200 ft as the trees had become very tight. When my partner stepped off one ski to transition we heard a loud muffled whumpf that sounded like it came from fairly deep and felt the snowpack drop.
