Quick report

Three of us toured up Tenderfoot Ridge to around 3100', noting many glide cracks across the landscape in the Summit Lake area, several of which looked to be in the last 24-48 hours. We enjoyed 12-18" of light powder on top of a supportable crust, skiing 25-30 degree sections of the northwest-facing slope off the ridge. We did not note any instability on four laps down that face. Clear, calm weather all day made for a great time. Hoar frost is building across the snow surface with clear, cold nights.

Avalanche

Countless glide avalanches and cracks across mostly south- and west-facing aspects, but glides were also observed on north-facing aspects
