Good snow up high with substantial boosh still to be found up to 5k’ and a rain/MF crust up to ~4500’ below 15cm of new snow… making ingress and egress sub optimal. Wind affected (and actively loading) snow reserved to ridgelines and little loose dry concern with settled powder on slopes ~35*. Only one small collapse noted today at ~5500’ at a thinner (and potentially faceted) spot along a ridgeline.

Cloud cover built throughout the day as easterly winds increased and temperatures gradually dropped.
Snowpack
Generally right side up with obvious mid-January and Xmas crust layers and both with preserved faceted snow above/below. Quick pit @~6000’ on a 20* N aspect: HS 240cm - ECTN moderate (x2) on hardness changes in the upper 50cm and ECTN 28 @ 150cm on facets above Xmas crust.
