First run of the day we rode the 30 degree slope further down the saddle. Dug a pit and the slope was wind loaded. It was obvious and easy to see. 2nd run was 35 degrees and convex at the top and the first rider made an intentional ski cut knowing the slope was very questionable. The wind slab broke 1 foot deep and 75 ft wide, running down the whole 700 feet of the slope.
Many people were riding unaware of conditions and without avalanche gear, even after witnessing this good size release.
