Quick report
Skied down into trims creek from the backside of Devils Thumb. Dug one full pit and multiple column tests and the main concern was failure above an early season rain/melt crust. No recent avalanches were observed although I did see a cornice failure that happened some time since I was out last week and it entailed a large amount of sluff (see pic). Excellent skiing to be had if you're willing to wrestle a few alders :)
