Quick report
Controlled detonation at Leavitt Lake on an eastern aspect. Initially found a weak layer 15cm from the surface after receiving a CTM. During the movement up the mountain we did not cause any cracking and didnt see any signs of collapse. There were also many snowmobiles in the area going up to much higher elevations and on obvious avalanche terrain and I didn't notice any collapse caused by them either. We initially place a charge intended to clear a slab 20 ft across and upon detonation it continued to propagate a few hundred meters across the area. Video of the avalanche has been sent to the Bridgeport avalanche center Instagram.
