- <p>Frequent whumphing noted at elevations below about 8500'- did not notice as much above 8500'. Cracking was noted frequently 1-2' from our skis throughout the day. Facet weak layer at our snow pit site had signs of rounding, but still facets and 1-2mm.</p>
