Quick report
There was a lot of active wind loading at the summit with a small cornice ridge forming where the skin track starts to meet the top of Christmas Tree Bowl. The main start zone of Edelweiss felt loaded and slabby.
Avalanche
SE Aspect of the Edelweiss skin track at 9000’ just below the last approach to summit. D1R1 wind slab. Looked to be a natural release sometime before I got there at about 9am.
