Quick report
After a solid refreeze last night , the sun was softening snow surfaces enough for rollers balls to begin releasing off our skis on solar slopes by 11:00. Temperatures rose well above freezing by the afternoon at our highest observed elevation of 9500', but a hand pit showed dry snow down 30cm. Naturally releasing roller balls and small wet loose avalanches coming from rocks bands were occurring starting around 13:00 but were not entraining significant amounts of snow or gouging deeply into the snowpack. We observed one recent natural wind slab avalanche on a SE slope around 10,150' which likely occurred on Friday or Saturday.
