Quick report

What was most notable was the overall lack of snow and the impacts on the highway from debris flows, flooding, and trees. Insufficient snow at middle and lower elevations for avalanche hazard.

Snowpack

No direct snowpack obs, as the nearest snow was at 5,500ft. Continuous snow was generally above 6,000ft. A few areas held more snow down to 5,500ft.
The existing snow surfaces are textured and look well-transformed from copious rain in the past week. Any features, such as drifts, avalanches, or debris, have aged significantly since being formed.

Avalanche

Older wet loose avalanches from Dec 9-11th. 5,500-7,000ft, most aspects. Mostly D1-1.5. Some larger debris to D2.
