Quick report

Overall stable snow. We dug one hand pit near the top of Gunsight (SE aspect, 6,000’) and found what looked and felt like a buried wind slab. It was around 10cm thick, under a foot of new snow, and very stubborn to slide. We skied there twice with minimal sluffing at the top and no other signs of instability.
