Snowpack
I traveled on S-SE, solar aspects mostly at low elevations. I found a variety of surfaces and (in)stability.
Most surfaces were melt forms. Well-shaded slopes had stout crusts that remained fully frozen at least through 1 p.m. Slopes with any amount of sun were softening by 11a. Very steep slopes near rocks were barely supportive by 1p. Most other sunny slopes were somewhere in between, with 5-10cm of weak, moist surfaces on 5-10cm of strong, pencil-hard crust. There were a few lower-angle, well-shaded slopes that held up to 10-20cm of settled recent snow. While this hadn't transitioned to melt forms, it was becoming moist.

Between 3,900-4,700ft on S-SE slopes ~40*, ski cuts were able to initiate rollerballs and nearly loose wet avalanches. There were a couple of notable large to very large avalanches on northerly aspects at middle to upper elevations. They were older, tho likely happened after March 25th.
