Snowpack
The snow pack was generally 50 cm deep. The recent winds have built a pencil hard, supportive crust near and above tree line. The middle of the pack is 1 finger to 4 finger in hardness and is starting to facet. A 20 cm thick layer of well developed depth hoar is at the bottom of the snow pack.
Avalanche
I saw two small avalanches that probably occurred around 12/7-8.
