Snowpack

Afternoon trip out Cement Creek. Between 10,000ft and 10,800ft the snowpack is pretty punchy. Snowmobile would punch through the slab at times, and foot pen was to the ground. The slab was about 60 to 75cm thick. Obvious signs of instability were common on West and NE-facing slopes and some east-facing slopes. Climbing up to the double top area, the slab got stronger, and it took a little more effort to find obvious signs of instability. .

Avalanche

Remotely triggered several avalanches but otherwise didn't end up near too much steep avalanche terrain. There was a recent very large avalanche on the North side of Cement Mountain.
