Quick report
We went into Moose Lake to ski the South face of the ridge North of the lake. As we approached that face, that aspect had a significant sun crust. We changed our plans and toured to the saddle North of Moose Peak. Climbed Moose Peak, and descended to a skiable area on the Northern aspect of Moose Peak. We dug a pit, and got ECTX and CTX results, with no failure or propagation. We skied the Northern aspect and it was good with 1-2 feet of soft snow on top of the crust. We also skied off the East face of Moose Peak which was starting to develop a sun crust and warming but not as bad as the South facing aspects. None observed.

Clear and sunny. Super cold in the shade and warming and getting wetter in areas exposed to sun.
Snowpack
North face of Moose Peak. Elevation 6957. Snow Depth 210cm. We dug a pit on the north face and got ECTX and did an additional column test CTX. Southern aspects had a sun crust. Skied the East face of Moose Peak and it was warming with the start of a sun crust. It had about 1 foot of fresh snow on a solid significant crust.
Avalanche
I saw signs of semi-recent avalanches. Debris at the bottom of the big face off the summit of Moose Peak and an old crown on the north face Northeast of the summit of Moose Peak.
