Quick report
There appeared to be an avalanche debris field at the bottom of South Gully. I was skinning up to the bottom of the ravine and stopped several hundred yards past the end of the Forest Service "road" trail. I was the first one up the trail that morning and didn't go past the scrub vegetation at the bottom of the ravine. It was about 10:30 AM. Mostly cloudy. Temps in the teens. Light wind with several inches of new snow over a hard base.
