Started from Bunny Flat at 1120am in light snow showers. Roughly 8" of relatively light new snow on top of dense rain soaked snow from Saturday's rain. Temperature at Bunny Flat was just below freezing. New snow depth increased to maybe 12" towards treeline, and occasional bouts of sunshine slightly wetted the snow surface in unshaded areas. Above treeline the snow became substantially wind affected and drier, though was still relatively soft. We only encountered wind scoured crust in one area on the top of a moraine at our high point. Temperature at 8600' at 4pm was 26F with gusty winds from the W transporting snow. Descended gullies between moraines in very enjoyable soft (if somewhat wind affected) powder, then followed our skin track back to Bunny Flat. Noticed a slight sun crust in some exposed areas below 7500', but not thick/strong enough to affect skiing quality. Some cracking in soft wind slabs above treeline on low angle test slopes.
