Quick report

Cracking
isolated

Low clouds and rain made it challenging at times to see new avalanche activity. We did see loose wet avalanches in Summit Lake on Gilpatrick South Peak. In Turnagain Pass, Twin Peaks had new debris in one of its avalanche paths. Most concerning was the glide crack opening up on Tincan, on a slope mid-way up the skin track in the trees. Look at the photo to identify where it is for future adventures on Tincan.

New glide crack on Tincan in the trees on the slope known as Hamburger Hill. A common slope people skin up and ski down.
