Generally limited signs of instability aside from a few cracks ascending the ridge line. Winds were variable throughout the day but generally calm. Triggered a wind slab on the east face of Blackmore that ran surprisingly far.

We observed generally limited signs of loading on the approach despite moderate winds at times. We kicked off a few small cornices intentionally that were not reactive. While skiing down, I triggered a 4 - 5" thick wind slab from the new snow on the East Face of Blackmore. The slab broke roughly 50' wide roughly 400' down the slope. You can see the primary trigger in the top of the photo which ran across the rocks and then triggered another, wider wind slab. I was able to ski across the slope to avoid the slide.
