Quick report

HS 153, E, NE facing pit @8,800' ECTP30 down 45cm We observed about 4-6 inches of 4F density new snow on top of a 1F layer of roughly the same thickness near the top of Bacon Rind meadows. Underneath these layers, is a crust / facet sandwich roughly 35 cm down from the surface at about 115cm. This PWL contained two 4F layers of facets that reacted on a medium shovel shear at about 110cm. Propagation on an ECT on the 30th loading step. Excellent skiing on north aspects until a temperature line at roughly 7,500' corresponding to Friday's warmup.
