Quick report
I didn't do any formal snowpack observations today, but snowmobile trenching revealed weak snow near the ground with a mid pack crust and a slab above. Travel was very conservative and no avalanche terrain was traveled in.
Avalanche
One D2 natural on an upper elevation NE aspect of Morgan Mtn at 8200', looked to be about a week old. Failing at the ground. Groomer triggered a D1 slab Saturday, below the road cut on a south aspect at 7600', failing on a crust. Rough size was 20' wide by 18" deep.
