Wind slabs were observed in North, Northwest, and Northeast facing terrain at or above treeline and triggered easily at varying depths of 2-6 inches . Only significant wind slab triggered during tour was D1R3@ 9000 ft on a NE aspect with a 4inch crown. Active wind loading present above tree line and wind slabs were present on North, Northwest and Northeast facing terrain.

Snowpack
Snowpack was observed and full profile performed . Mostly transitioning from F for top later to 4F for a few inches and mostly 1F of new snow and P hardness for the old snow mostly of new snow on top of a saturated bottom layer of old snow. Small 1 cm rain-crust visible at ~30cm from the ground. Compression tests were performed and triggered in various depths within the new snow with first being sudden collapse while subsequent triggers were Resistant Planar . ECT was performed but produced no propagation in the snowpack.
