Quick report

Significant warmer temperatures up to 7000’. 50 degrees at Cracker Creek trailhead at 10 am. Above freezing at 7500’ near Cable Cove. Light mist, moderate south wind. 12” boot penetration with fist hardness at observation site. Snowpack was settling and becoming dense with today’s higher temperatures.

Avalanche

Three D1 Wet Loose slides observed on a SE aspect, 40 degree open slope above tree line at 7300’. Appeared to point release into roller balls for about 200’ - fanned out 70’ wide. Surface slide.
