Periods of clouds and sun in the late morning, with flurries of snow falling by noon. Moderate, gusty winds blowing out of the W. 15-20cm of low density PP.
Snowpack
15-20cm of new, low density snow skied great. Winds blowing out of the W had transported much of this snow at upper elevations, but drifting/slab formation seemed to be largely restricted to ridgeline locations. I walked and stomped on a lot of drifts on both SW and NW facing slopes, these were stubborn to unreactive.
Avalanche
I had good visibility in my immediate vicinity, initially. I did not see any new avalanches.
