Quick report
Toured up to thumbtack from source lake approach; snow softened considerably above 5k feet and in both sun exposed and shaded areas although solar slopes were more consistently soft. Able to penetrate length of pole in many areas with ski pole (snow basket attached) Skiing was great on sun slopes at 5k and higher elevations; snow was a frozen, icy mess below approx 4500 and especially in shaded areas. Lots of creeks opening up on approach/return from source to parking lot; occasionally rocks/holes/creek openings above source lake as well No signs of instability; snow seemed well consolidated.

Lots of glide avy debris that others have noted in previous reports; much of the snow has shed/melted from higher elevation and cliffs
