Quick report
Yesterday I reported what I thought was a naturally triggered avalanche but I got a text with photos from the person who ski cut and then skied that path. It turned out to be the same avalanche reported by Casey Costello on the 16th. I didn't believe the text, because from my vantage, and in my photos I could not see any tracks. I went back today to verify and I was wrong. Sorry for the false data! I dug a pit today on east facing slope at 6500'. In an isolated column, 20cm of new snow slid off the column easily on buried facets over a crust (5th hand tap) and then fell apart. Continued taps resulted in less planar failure in a discontinuity about 50cm down (3rd elbow tap).

Traversing back into resort, a few hours later, well below wind loaded ridge / plateau , saw a skier triggered wind slab slide off of a NE (leeward) chute that went down into the trees. Set of ski tracks exiting mid slide, slide went into the trees but was not deep enough to bury - whoever cut it, got lucky and skied down, hard skiers right, out of the slide path.
