I skied between Timberline and Silcox Hut from about 14:00 to 18:00. During that time, wind was steady, precipitation increased (turning from icy to snow), and visibility decreased. Wind transport was abundantly obvious, with much snow deposited on the east side of trees, cat tracks, hills, etc. My descent tracks became obscured by drifting snow and hard to recognize within 30 minutes (see photo). I noticed some isolated cracking and collapsing in steep snowdrifts on the lee sides of trees. The upper layer of snow readily slid off a hard crust layer about 4” below (see photo).
