Quick report
6in of dense, wet, consolidated snow above a thin breakable crust. The new snow was poorly bonded to the crust in skied areas and above about 3800ft. Estimate ~20-22in above the more stout February crust. It was snowing heavily throughout the majority of our tour, tapering off at the end. Precip was barely snow. Calm winds. No signs of recent avalanches. Lots of roller balls off trees and rocks/cliffs by the time we exited around 11am. Still lots of open creeks, rocks, and holes but travel is pretty manageable. Overall good skiing. The dense, wet snow decreased ski variability compared to yesterday.
