Quick report
About 7in of wet and heavy new snow at 4300ft at 8am. Hand pits reliably produced clean shears 5 to 7 in deep on what appeared to be a density change in the new snow, or possibly the old snow surface. Test slopes did not slide and no cracks/collapsing were observed. Still, a skier triggered D1 storm slab on a steep convex rollover at ~4600ft resulted in a partial burial. The skier was assisted by their partner and skied away unharmed.
