there seems to be a very right-side-up snow pack down to the solstice crust. There are a few interfaces between layers of rounds that seem to have a wafer-thin crust. That may be why those interfaces produced some CT results. Not entirely sure. There also seem to be some rounding facets just above the solstice crust, but no tests showed a propensity for propagation.
