Limited visibility made gathering evidence of natural avalanches at this location difficult today (some dry loose debris observed from within the storm event at road level on steep north facing slopes). Cornices were soft from the recent storm and easily triggered onto scarp slopes. Winds were light from a variety of directions.
Shooting cracks from ski's 4'-6' on unsupported and occasionally supported terrain. Multiple episodes of rolling collapsing experienced especially on North aspect at mid elevations - 7200-7800 ft. Several natural avalanches were observed on cross-loaded terrain in Hoback Canyon, one being D2 with many other smaller avalanches involving storm snow.Weather

Snowpack
We dug on a North aspect at 7800 feet. HS 150cm. 40cm on new snow sits on an interface of NSF with the old snow. This interface failed on testing: ECTP14 @ 40cm I/O and ECTP14+1 @40cm I/O. On South aspects, the new snow sits on top of a stout MF knife hard crust, 2cm thickness with FC forms beneath.
