Crossed this large sluff near toe that started around High T on W Rustler(Jakes or Annie's). Ran a few hundred feet. Bed surface from afar looked pretty smooth. Sounds typical for what was observed on other side of ridge in Greeley and elsewhere. Starting zone probably around 40 deg. Debris was soft, less than 3' deep. Happened today judging from fresh looking tracks covered and no new snow on top. Doesn't appear that anyone was caught. [Forecaster Comments: Closed ski areas that are currently allowing uphill traffic are not performing any avalanche mitigation. This means ski areas must be treated as the backcountry.]
