This avalanche appeared to connect wall-to-wall through Bailey's, from Bailey's Bowl north to the Saddle. This made for a width of about 1/2 mile, with a vertical drop of about 250 feet to the bench below. While a very sizable crown length, this has happened a few times in the past that I know of, though it's certainly possible it was 2 or 3 separate avalanches. I did not get close enough to investigate further, as I was traveling solo and not about to go tickle that dragon.
