Quick report
We saw large crowns on steep NE aspects off the shoulder of Penrose and wind affected snow on other aspects. We did not dig into the snow at all. Snow surfaces at higher elevations remained dry on all aspects. Moderate winds with high gusts helped this and some cloud cover. We enjoyed a nice long run from 7600'. Dry snow transitioned to wet at 5000' and the trail out was sticky which made it safer to ski out. Really nice that last week storm snow has been holding good skiing! Saw lots of large crowns on steep NE facing slopes. Some N facing slopes looked to have some wind affected texture to them.
Snowpack
