I drove over to Mendon yesterday afternoon for a look at natural wet avalanche activity in the Wellsville Range. I could see evidence of some loose wet avalanches, but the activity wasn't as widespread as I had expected with the very warm temperatures... Southeast facing slopes appeared to be the most active..
