- <p>Only major red flag observed was a 2-4" deep windslab that released near 8400 feet, 40 degree slope and ran about 20 feet. Located below cornice on a ridge, cornice did not fall. No one was caught, carried or injured.</p>
Visibility was poor for much of the trip. We had to wait for moments of clearing before skiing certain lines to ensure a visual on each person. Overall, snow conditions were very enjoyable with a few inches of new powder. We did find evidence of an older, very large slide near the base of the bowl.

Approximately 3" new snow on top of a somewhat icy layer. Some evidence of windslab at highest elevation on E-NE aspects.
