Quick report

Between 3 test pits we observed much spatial variability, each pit had different layers and different test results. The one constant is the layer of 2-4mm facets on the ground, that we will continue to observe over the coming weeks to see how the new snow will react to it.

Snowpack

HS: 45cms, Aspect: E, Slope angle: 16*, Elevation: 10,080ft, Temp: -5*C, Ski Pen: 15cms, Boot Pen: 40cms ECTX CT12BRK down 35cms, on 3mm facets In my pit I observed 2 distinct layers, 4F snow on top of facets that started 15cms above the ground.
