Thin breakable MFC even on North facing terrain with around 10 inches of new dry soft snow on top. First couple of turns into Braughtons mid-morning sluffed pretty easily to the crust layer, but as the sun came out throughout the day the interface became a bit better. W- SW wind was moving snow around as the day went on but slabs weren't forming quite yet when we were out skiing. Saw many small point-release dry loose avalanches below the cliff bands on the backside of Freds and Marys Localized cracking in new snow walking from bottom of Braughtons to Steve Baugh.

Initially poor bonding between melt/freeze crust and new snow interface New snow was pretty dry and sluffed easily first couple of turns into Braughtons. Bonding got better throughout the day as the sun came out.

L-N-R1-D1-I Saw point release- dry loose avalanche that ran either early in the morning or last afternoon when it was snowing hard. This was the largest we saw although there were many other small sluff slides beneath the cliff bands on the backside of Freds and Marys.
