Data gathered from adjacent trail. Small slab released probably with wind and loading on the 9th? Seemed to break in the weak old snow. Presumably naturally triggered in the steep terrain below the lake.
Above the lake there's around 60 cm of loose faceted snow on the ground on shady aspects. The west facing slopes are all but bare until around 10k. today was pleasant and sunny with occasional moderate wind gusts. Broken clouds moved in during the afternoon. No other avalanche activity observed.
