Dug pit at 10,203 on northwest facing slope of 10420 and snow was very reactive from wind loading got ECTP3 at 40cm down (not full propagation but went across at least 3/4th of the pit) on what I’m guessing is a combo of new snow and wind layer - pulled the slab off then got ECTN13 at 10cm on pwl near ground.
Wind was very strong and at one point on the way up knocked me over. Looking at actuals from the great western wind station gust were around 50mph when this happened.
