No signs of avalanche activity or instability skinning up. Northern aspect had thin breakable crust underneath 2” of new snow, though open northern slopes above roughly 4,000ft didn’t have upper crust, just layer from earlier this year with lots of faceted snow sitting on top. Kicked off small sluff near the bottom on a steep section, but otherwise everything was stable.
