Quick report
lots of wet loose, temps were in the upper 50's. No new snow. The snow felt stable for the most part. Lots of danger out there though.
Avalanche
Our group this morning got up to the pineapple basin around 8:00am, we had seen no signs of instability, just a little wet loose because of the extremely hot temps today. Around 8:20am while taking a break in the basin, we heard the sound of rumbling and looked up to the Eastside of chair peak when we saw a huge avalanche break loose from the upper bowl. Our groups guesses it was maybe a D3-D4 slide. The debris ended just above Source Lake and luckily we do not think anyone was down there when it happened
