Quick report

Hit a First Turn off of Glory and then skied a few laps on Edelweiss. First Turn was a bit wind lippy and chunky but still soft with no consolidated slab that we saw or felt aside from some firmness on the ridgeline. Initial hand pit on NE aspect of Edelweiss while skinning at 8200’ broke on New/Old Interface 15”+ down and then 6” down where the new snow was wind affected. The fallen snow grew heavier to ski through throughout the day and was especially noticeable around 3pm when we also noticed light graupel falling on the snow surface. By 4pm the snow on the N end of Edelweiss towards the nose was pretty wind affected and dense compared to the E facing middle of the bowl. All in all great skiing, did not notice any shooting cracks and snow stayed pretty soft.
