Triggered several small soft wind slabs in steep SE facing terrain at between 8600' and 8800' that once released, entrained a lot of loose new snow. Initial soft wind slab fractures were estimated 15-20' wide and 18-24" deep and easily entrained snow below breaking into a loose dry avalanche as it descended- the longest running a couple hundred vertical feet to the flats. Some major soft cornice formation and wind loading just below off easterly ridge lines.
